Planned Downtime for Instabridge

During the upgrade process, Instabridge is expected to be down for approximately two weeks. This downtime is essential to allow our team time to integrate seamlessly with the live Babylon network and conduct thorough testing. Our top priority is ensuring the security and reliability of our services.

Exciting New Features

When Instabridge goes live again on the Babylon network, it will bring along some exciting new features. We’re thrilled to announce that Instabridge will now support the wrapping and two-way bridging of new crypto assets:

• ETH
• USDC
• USDT
• wBTC

The “x” Factor

To distinguish these new wrapped assets on the Radix network, they will have an “x” prefix. For example, USDC will show as xUSDC on the Radix network. This naming convention will make it easy for users to identify and work with these assets on our platform.

Two-Way Bridging

With this upgrade, you’ll be able to enjoy two-way wrapping for the mentioned assets. However, please note that the EXRD to XRD bridging service will remain one-way.
